Elizabeth Elaine Sharp

Georgetown—Elaine Plummer Sharp, age 78, passed away on December 12, 2023. She passed away from the effects of COPD at the Harrison House of Georgetown while struggling for each breath.

Elaine was born on September 14, 1945, in Milford. Elaine spent her childhood in Lincoln and Milford and graduated from Milford High School. Later, she married the love of her life, Bruce Sharp, and they spent over 30 years in Las Vegas, Nevada. After Bruce’s passing, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona and then returned to Milford to be near family. She would later make her home in Georgetown, where she resided with her cousin/sister, Kay M. Dill.

Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Sharp; her mother, Elizabeth Outten Plummer; and her father, Louis R. Plummer.

She is survived by numerous cousins and friends.

A graveside memorial service, for both Elaine and Bruce, will be held at 11:00am Friday, March 15, 2024 at Lincoln Cemetery, Clendaniel Pond Road, Lincoln, Del. 19960.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to the Carlisle Fire Company, 615 N.W. Front Street, Milford, DE 19963 in memory of both Bruce and Elaine.
