A. Michele (Clough) Melvin

MILFORD – Michele Melvin, age 63, of Cincinnati, OH and formerly of Milford, DE, passed away Friday January 12, 2024.

She was born November 13,1960 in Milford, daughter of the late Albert Clough and Lois Carpenter Clough.

Michele worked as a dispatcher for Prime Care Medical Transport for over 20 years. She was a life member of the South Bowers Fire Department and was an EMT, joining in 1995. She was past president of the South Bowers Ladies Auxiliary and an EMS officer, serving as secretary for over 20 years.

She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and attending quarter auctions.

Michele is survived by three children, Christopher Clough, John (April) Wothers, and Beth (Douglas Cooper) Jones; and granddaughter, Elli Dukes.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3-4pm on Friday, February 2, 2024, at the South Bowers Fire Department, 57 Scotts Corner Road, Milford, DE 19963. Pastor Robert Draper, III will officiate. A bereavement meal will immediately follow.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions would be appreciated to the South Bowers Fire Department, 57 Scott Corner Road, Milford, Delaware 19963.
