Aric W. Roork

Aric Wade Roork, 44, of Milton, passed way in his home on Monday, May 4, 2020. He was born in Milford, Delaware on September 27, 1975. He married the love of his life Mayra in 2012. He resided most of his life in Milton and was a 1994 graduate of Cape Henlopen High School. He was a longtime chef working for several restaurants in the beach area including Casa DiLeo, Claws, Blue Water Grill and Sodel Concepts to name a few. Aric combined his love for animals with his second career working for Aquatic Creations. Aric was a compassionate caring man, who had a love for animals, cooking, and movies. He had several pets including his baby girl, Sheena, a German Shephard. His personality made him a joy to be around and animals sensed his loving heart. He loved adventure and superhero movies as well as comedies. He was an avid Star Wars and Star Trek fan. He is survived by his loving wife Mayra Roork; six children, Kane, Kevin, AJ, Carolina, Brayan, and Douglas; his mother, Debra Roork; his father, Devlin Roork; sister, Jessica Mattioni (Chris); and nephews, Aaron and Owen Mattioni. Due to the restrictions of COVID-19 a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
