Arland "Mike" L. Edwards

GREENWOOD – Arland L. ‘Mike’ Edwards, 81, passed away at Bayhealth Sussex Campus in Milford on Sunday, June 27, 2021. He was born in Spartansburg, PA on July 16, 1939 to the late Gerald L and Anna Belle Northrop Edwards. Mike proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Heritage Bible Baptist Church, active in all church activities. He was the owner of Neighborhood Plumbing for several years. He was an avid bowler in Milford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a grandson, Justin Edwards. Mike is survived by his wife, Joan Clarkson Edwards; eight children, Timothy Edwards, Monte Edwards (Mary), Christopher Edwards (Angel), Suzy Hutchison (Bryan), Sharon Johnson, Allen Buckley (Toni), Lora Lei Buckley, and Mary Garbrick (John); six siblings, Eileen Watson, Elaine Hanks, Duane Edwards, Ellen Burrows, Dale Edwards (Joyce) and Aletta Pattison (Terry); eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 6 pm until 8 pm in the sanctuary of Heritage Bible Baptist Church, 6510 Hickman Rd., Greenwood, DE. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 2, 2021 at 1 pm. Interment to follow at St. Johnstown Cemetery.
