Barbara R. (Mccolley) Wagner

June 24, 1942 — March 26, 2021

BRIDGEVILLE – Barbara R. Wagner passed away peacefully on Friday, March 26, 2021 at TidalHealth Nanticoke in Seaford. Barbara was born in Milford, Delaware daughter of the late William and Anna McColley. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Truitt W. Wagner, in 2016. Barbara retired several years ago from the USDA where she worked for many years as an administrative assistant. Prior to her time with USDA she worked at LD Caulk and Burris Foods, both in Milford. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed shopping and travelling. She also had a love for pets, especially her dog Princess, and the farm cats. Barbara is survived by a son, Randy Wagner; a daughter, Teresa Lamb; five grandchildren, Dylan Wagner, Riley Wagner, Candice Lamb, Alysia Lamb and Allen Cane, III; four great grandchildren, Cheyenne Bowman, Alanah Purnell, Jaiven Smith and Chayce Cahall-Lamb; as well as her siblings, Joan King, Rita Bennett (Rick), Dennis McColley, and Lynn McColley (Karen). A graveside funeral will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Henlopen Memorial Park, 28787 Lockerman Road, Milton, Del 19968. Masks will be required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
