Bonnie C. Ruston

Bonnie C. Ruston, 88, of Georgetown, DE passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024.

Bonnie was born in Dover, Delaware on May 5, 1936 to the late T. Robert and Catherine Croes Ruston. While Bonnie’s life was not an easy one, she found joy in spending time in the activity center or looking out a sunny window, taking trips to the mall or to get ice cream, ‘supper time’ and wearing her pretty jewelry around the West wing at the Stockley Center, where she resided for many years.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her brother, Wilbert Croes, and sisters, Sylvia Ruston Gee and Joyce K. Ruston. She is survived by her nephew Jim Wootten and his wife Christina of Millsboro; great nephews and nieces, Luke, Connor, Sydney, and Remi Wootten; Gail Wootten; cousins and dear friends and caregivers at the Stockley Center who she loved as family.

A memorial service to celebrate Bonnie’s life will be held at the Stockley Center, 26351 Patriots Way, Georgetown, DE 19947 on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Stockley Center.
