Boyd H. Chaney, Jr.

Boyd H. Chaney, Jr., 69, of Ellendale passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at home. Boyd was born in Milford, the son of Grace (Buckley) Steele and the late Boyd H. Chaney, Sr. He had worked at Demco for 18 years, Blue Hen Trucking and Harrington Equipment Company. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Faye (Hallman) Chaney. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, Boyd H. Chaney, III and Chris Chaney; brothers, Jimmy Steele, Lee Chaney and Terry Chaney. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, where friends may call after 12:00 noon. Interment will be in Oakley Cemetery, Ellendale. Those attending must adhere to CDC protocols for mask wearing and distancing.
