Bruce E. Straw, Jr.

Bruce E. Straw, Jr., 68, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Bay Health Kent General in Dover. He was born in Harrisburg, PA on January 10, 1952 to the late Helen (nee Kitner) and Bruce E. Straw, Sr. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force. Bruce worked in Maintenance for Harrington Raceway & Casino for 20 years, enjoyed fishing, wood working, playing video games and especially spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded by two sisters, Esther Kendel and Tina Lankford. Bruce is survived by his wife, Patricia (nee Bruno) Straw; son, Bruce E. Straw, III and his friend, Yerica I. Diaz Ramos; daughter, Kristen Straw; siblings, Donald Straw and his wife Mary, Marla Thompson, and Kayla Hall and her husband Ivan; and four grandchildren, Savannah, Serenity, Sahara and Bruce, IV. A time of visitation will be held in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main St., Felton, DE on Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 6 pm until 7 pm. There are no formal services.
