Bryan Douglas Powell, 57, of Milford passed away unexpectantly on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at his home. Bryan was born in Anchorage, Alaska. He is survived by his parents, Horace and Kathryn (Callaham) Powell, and his birth mother; Jean Stanley.
Bryan was an avid golfer, darts player, and fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and a part of their Dart League. Holidays were a very important part of his life, as he decorated for 4th of July, Halloween and most importantly Christmas. His lights on the house were a sight to see, having cars stop on the side of the road every holiday. He served his nation in the Air Force and was very proud of the country he served. Above all these things, Bryan loved his family, his pets, and all the friends he made throughout his life from Texas, California, Arizona, and Delaware. That love and friendship was evident to all.
In addition to his parents, he will be greatly missed by his loving wife Denise Powell whom he was with for more than 30 years. He is survived by his daughter; Alexandra Powell and Fiancé Jeremy Brenton; brother-Brad Powell and his wife Reyna, sister-Kristi Frederick, sister-Tamara Goodwin, and sister-Kate Sarber and her wife Heather Hoyt.
