Carla E Royse

LINCOLN – Carla E. Royse passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, September 26, 2024.

Carla was born in Orange County, California and raised by Theresa Richardson with a family consisting of 11 siblings.

Carla loved her job with Direct and Correct Traffic Control Services. She retired as a senior controller after 25 years due to health concerns.

Carla was a social butterfly who loved her friends and enjoyed keeping up with them by phone. She also loved butterflies and anything that had butterflies on it.

She is survived by her husband Gary E. Royse; a daughter, Lesley Royse; a son, Chris Malvas; a granddaughter, Aubrie Porter; her adoptive mother, Theresa Richardson; as well as her siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.

A time of visitation for family, friends and co-workers will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm on Saturday, October 5, 2024 in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Homes, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, De 19963. Come as you are, casual attire is welcome.
