Carol A. (Robinson) Evans

Carol A. Evans, 75, of Georgetown, DE passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 27, 2020. Carol was born on August 18, 1945 to the late Charles Ross Robinson and Gladys Marie (Bunting) Robinson. In addition to her late parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Donald A. Evans; and four brothers, Norman “Boo Boo” Robinson, Donald “Duck” Robinson, Jimmy Robinson, and George Ross Robinson. Carol is survived by her son, Keith D. Evans; a grandson, Kieler K. Evans; two sisters, Connie H. Pettyjohn and Olive J. Karr; three brothers, Charles Ross “CR” Robinson (Kim), Mark Robinson, and Ronnie Robinson (Denise); sister-in-law, Terry Robinson; cousin, Diane Fleetwood (Steve), and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Carol, known by many as the “Chicken Shack Lady” was full of life and laughter. She loved spending her time watching baseball and softball games, always keeping score with her notepad and pen. Carol enjoyed riding her golf cart through the neighborhood and watching the kiddies play outside. She loved spending time with her sisters, whether it be at the slots or just having a meal together. Carol’s all-time favorite thing was camping at Frontiertown. Per Carol’s request, there will be visitation for immediate family only in the chapel of Short Funeral Services in Georgetown, DE.
