LINCOLN – Charles Robert “Bob” Bradley passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
Born Charles Robert Bradley on September 26, 1941, in Milford, Bob became an entrepreneur and loved keeping himself busy. He worked for many years as a carpenter in the construction industry, including with friend John P. Argo. He and his wife Marie would later own and operate local De-Lux Dairy Markets and, in later years, PrimeCare Medical Transport.
Never one to be still, Bob enjoyed aviation and flying and was a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. His memberships also included, the Milford Elks #2401, Milford Moose #2316, and the DE State
Sportmen’s Association. When not in the air flying, Bob loved classic cars, woodworking, was an avid billiards player, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling and snow skiing. He especially loved spending time with his family at their summer home at Lake Gaston, Virginia.
Bob is preceded in death by his father, Franklin Bradley and his wife Virginia; his mother, Ruth Appel Bohannon and her husband Jim; and a grandson, Lee Folke.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Marie E. Bradley; three children, Larry Bradley and his companion Arlene Blankenship, Karen Fry and her husband Jeff, Wendy Moore and her husband Dennis; 10 grandchildren, Brooks Bradley (Jessica), Brent Bradley (Amanda), Clint Bradley and their mother Kathy Bradley, Jason Fry (Morgan), Chad Fry (Brittany), Brandy Blessing (Chris), Lauren Toadvine (Zach) and Dustin Moore, Mindy (Bo), Blake (Allie); 12 great grandchildren with two more arriving this Spring; two sisters, Cindy Myers (Terry), and Ellen Parker (Wright); special family members, Bruce and Sherrie Baker, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and extended family.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Homes, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, DE, where a time of visitation for family and friends will begin at 11:30am. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery.

or DE State Sportsmen’s Association.
