Charlotte Voshell Gingerich

Viola—Charlotte Voshell Gingerich passed on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Accent Care Hospice, Wilmington, DE., at the age of 90.

Charlotte was born in Media, Pennsylvania, to her parents, Clayton and Margaret (Ferguson) Johnson.

She attended the Felton Viola United Methodist Church, was a member of the Harrington Moose Lodge for 50+ years and was a Life Member of the Felton Fire Company Auxiliary (60 years). Charlotte enjoyed doing cross stitch but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Harold H. Voshell Jr.; daughter, Cheryl Hodgman; son, Darrell Voshell; and second husband William Gingerich.

She is survived by her children, Ronald R. Voshell, Sr. (Bonnie), H. Wayne Voshell; stepchildren, William Gingerich (Kathy), Robert Gingerich (Kathy), Mary Ellen Doden (Richard); brother in-laws, Robert J. Voshell (Joyce), and Clarence “Honey” Voshell (Loey); 13 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at the Felton Fire Company, 9 E. Main Street, Felton, DE 19943. A time of visitation for family and friends will begin at Noon. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family welcomes memorial contributions to Felton Fire Company Auxiliary, 9 E. Main Street, P.O. Box 946, Felton, DE 19943.
