Felton—Christina Lynn Macklin, 55, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Bay Health, Dover, DE.

Christina was born on May 6, 1968, in Dover, DE to her parents, Anthony L. and Norma (Williamson) Hamor.

She was a homemaker, loved growing flowers, going to yard sales and working with the girl scouts.

Christina was preceded in death by her father, Anthony L. Hamor; brothers, Roy Trice and Ronnie Williamson.

She survived her husband, Harry D. Macklin, Jr.; mother, Norma (Williamson) Hamor; daughters, Samantha Strand, Heather Edwards, Ashley Barlow; step-daughter, Jessica Middleton; step-son, William Austin; brothers, Kenneth Trice and Michael Hamor, sisters, Betty Holt and Shirley Austin; and fourteen grandchildren.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm in the chapel Berry-Short Funeral Home, 217 Main Street, Felton, DE 19943. The funeral and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Short Funeral Services, P.O. Box 233, Milton, DE 19968 to help defray funeral costs.
