Dale W. Scott

MILTON—Dale W. Scott, 73, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Bayhealth Kent General in Dover, DE. Dale was born on January 29, 1950, to Fred P. and Doris (Wright) Scott of Milton, DE.

Dale graduated Valedictorian from Milton High School in 1968. He then went to Indiana University and obtained his MBA. Dale was a perfectionist in all aspects of his life. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed the simple pleasure of spending time talking with family and friends.

Dale loved Milton and was very active in town-related activities, as well as serving on the Water Committee for the Town of Milton. He was very proud of his garden and all of his “porch plants” and enjoyed showing them to all.

Dale is survived by his sister, Shannan Scott; nephew, Dave Wilcutts and his wife Kim, and their children, Joel, Sarah, and Thomas. Also, missing him is his faithful feline companion, Mr. Boots.

No services are scheduled at this time. There will be a Celebration of Life later in the summer.
