Dawn Wilson

LINCOLN – Dawn Wilson passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, May 14, 2021 at home. She was born in Delaware, the daughter of Gregory Clark, Sr., and the late Debra Mitchell. Dawn was a 1995 graduate of Cape Henlopen High School. Dawn was loved by all she came in contact with during her 44 years on this earth. Dawn was a devoted daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and most recently, grandmother. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. Dawn is survived by her two sons, Derrick Wilson, Jr. (Autumn Hopkins), and Deven Wilson; a granddaughter, Alanah Wilson; her father, Gregory Clark, Sr. (Carolyn); three brothers, Gregory Clark, Jr., Richard Clark and Billy Coulbourne (Stephanie); two sisters, Kelly Clark and Tracy Timmons. She is also survived by her uncle, David Mitchell; nephews, Shawn Clark, Jayon Downing and Zachary Todd; two nieces, Kylie Clark and Mikayla Clark; as well as a host of extended family and friends. The family would like to thank everyone who shared words of sympathy, as well as those who made a donation to cover funeral expenses during this difficult time. A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm on Thursday, May 27, 2021 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, Del. A time of visitation will be held for family and friends from 1:00-3:00pm. Interment will be held privately.
