Deborah Ann Tackett

ELLENDALE – Deborah A. Tackett passed away peacefully in her home on November 18, 2021. She was born to the late Palmer C. and Marge (Parker) Tackett in New Castle County, on June 10, 1059. Deborah is also preceded in death by her brother, Paul Tackett. She enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, the Baltimore Ravens and attending music festivals with George Jr. Deborah spent 35 years with her soulmate, George Kershaw, Jr., and went on to raise three children together, Robert Porta, Trina Porta (Wiley) and George Kershaw III. She also had the joy of loving four grandchildren, Jacob, Erin, Laila and Luke; two sisters, Pam Harter and Brenda Tackett; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm on Monday, November 22, 2021 in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Homes, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, Del.
