Doris Ann Millman

Milton—Doris Ann Millman, passed away at the age of 95, on June 12, 2022 at her home. Doris was born on May 10, 1927 in Milford, DE to her parents Leighton and Helen (Davis) Donovan. Doris was employed as a secretary at Burris Logistics for 38 years. She loved to decorate, garden, play the piano and most of all enjoyed spending time with her family. Doris attended the Goshen United Methodist Church and the Milton Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Millman and her daughter, Beverly Ann Dentino. She survived by her son, Judge Kenneth M. Millman (retired) and his wife Becki; son-in-law, Jay Dentino; grandchildren, Jarrod Millman, Whitney Smith (Greg), Shaye Dentino, Courtney Harp (Raymond), and Shelby Henley (Eric); great grandchildren, Logan, Noah, Piper Smith; Chase, Peyton, Gavin Morris; Avery, Grayson Harp; Hayley, Taylor, Ryan Henley. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to long time caregiver, Cindy Bell who provided loving care to Mom. We want to thank Kathy Dorrell, Michelle Warrington, Tussia Cornish, Kelly Sherrod and Vilette Newcombe for their care to our mother as well. We also thank Delaware Hospice for their excellent care of our mother in her last days. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Goshen United Methodist Church, 103 Mulberry Street, Milton, DE and a time of Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Milford Community Cemetery, Milford, DE.
