Doris M Willing

Doris M. Willing, 87, of Bridgeville, passed away in her home on December 31, 2024. She was the wife of Leon Willing. Born in Greenwood, on September 8, 1937, daughter of the late Lawrence Willey and the late Gladys Willey.

Doris and her husband were poultry farmers. She was also the co-owner of Leon Willing Trash Removal in Bridgeville, DE for over 20 years.

Doris enjoyed going to dinner and traveling. She was a good old-fashioned Sussex County girl who loved feeding the squirrels.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Willing is survived by a son, Richard Willing. She is also survived by a grandson, Ricky Willing Jr. and a granddaughter, Amber Ryzhechkin.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 1-2pm in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 East Market Street, Georgetown, DE. 19947. A funeral service will begin at 2pm in the funeral home.
