Earl H. Sennett

Earl Harold Sennett, 85, of Harrington, passed away peacefully at Bayhealth Sussex Hospital on Monday, December 2, 2024. Earl was born on December 13, 1938 to the late Casper and Emma (Clendaniel) Sennett.

A true Delaware native, Earl lived his whole life in Delaware. He proudly served in the military in the United States Army. Earl was also a member of the National Guard and was extremely proud of his country. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Milton, Delaware where he served his community as a Shriner. Earl was inquisitive and talkative in nature and always could find something to have a conversation about. He loved farming and working with his hands.

In addition to his parents, Earl is preceded in death by his loving wife of twenty-two years; Winnita Morgan Sennett, siblings; George Sennett, Norman Sennett, Elsie McFadden, Margaret Knight, Patsy Sennett, grandchildren; Isaiah Bennett, and Anthony Sennett.

He will greatly missed by his three children; Earlene Bouchat (Frank Jr.), Harold Sennett (Alicen), Christina Bennett (Tom), five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and his siblings; Wayne Sennett, and Barbara Jones.

A funeral service to remember and celebrate the life of Earl Harold Sennett will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home at 119 NW Front Street, Milford, DE. A time of visitation will take place from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon the same day. Interment will follow at Denton Cemetery in Denton, Maryland.
