Elizabeth E. "Betty" Cubbage

Frederica—Elizabeth E. “Betty” Cubbage, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022, after a short illness, at the Bayhealth Kent General Campus in Dover, Delaware. Betty was born May 17, 1938, daughter of the late William and Kathryn (Edwards) Cubbage.

Betty worked for Medds Market in Little Heaven for many years. She was a life member of the Bowers Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary where she held many offices with the Auxiliary, as well as, with the Town of Bowers.

Betty is survived by two sisters, Edna Masten (Bob) of Woodside, and Dorothy Galipo of Frederica; one brother, James Cubbage of Frederica; one daughter, Kathi Cubbage (Mark Dittami) of Frederica, DE; four grandchildren, January Sloan (John) of Florida, Rachel Killen of Smyrna, Michael Killen of Dover, and Hayden Rendfrey (Madison) of Wilmington; one great grandchildren, Madison Wright of Florida; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00pm on Friday, January 6, 2023, at the Bowers Fire Hall, 3285 Main Street, Frederica, DE. A time of visitation for family and friends will begin at 4:00pm. Interment will be held privately.
