Elsie "Daisey" Mae Darling of Felton was peacefully reunited with loved ones on February 8, 2021, with family by her side. She was 73. Elsie Mae graduated from Felton High in 1965. After high school, she attended school in Bethesda, Maryland, where she completed a medical certification. Upon graduation, she returned home and married Donald E. Darling, Sr on October 9th, 1965. They would spend 41 devoted years together before his passing in 2007. Daisey was a devoted mother who always spoke very proudly and lovingly of her children. She provided the best support system, and was always eager to offer a listening ear. She did not know an orphan, as she loved every child the same, as if they were her own. Many who came into contact with her would describe her as being one of the sweetest, most beautiful people to have ever met. Those closest to her were very familiar with her strong will! She is going to be deeply missed by all of those who were fortunate enough to have known and spent time with her. Elsie Mae Darling is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Donald E.
