Emma Lee "Emily" Killen

Felton, DE - Emma Lee "Emily" Killen passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

Emily was born on August 25, 1948, to the late Myrtle & Lewis Killen of Felton.

Emily attended Felton High School and retired from Kraft Foods. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially spoiling her grandkids. She loved to rock in her chair, shop on QVC and HSN, and watch Hallmark movies. Some of her hobbies were collecting porcelain dolls and beanie babies as well as reading Christmas/romance books.

In addition to her parents, Emily is preceded in death by her siblings, Joe Green, Eddie Killen, Doris Hutson, Jeanie Hutson and Patricia Martin.

She is survived by her two daughters, Sheila Kinnamon and husband Dale, and Tami Leager and husband Mark; one brother, Harold “Bucky" Killen; four grandchildren, Scott Kinnamon (Lauralye), Dylan Kinnamon (Sarah), Nick Kinnamon (gf/Sydney), and Matthew Leager; two great grandchildren Raelynn & Ava Kinnamon; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023, in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 217 E. Main St., Felton, DE 19943. A time of visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on the same day. Interment will follow at Hopkins Cemetery in Felton.
