F. "Dean" Price

Dr. F. Dean Price, born July 25, 1927, went home to be with his Lord on October,19, 2021. He was a faithful servant of Christ, beginning his ministry as a youth and music minister in Miami, Florida., continuing in Missouri and Texas. He pastored two churches in Kansas, then pastored First Baptist Church of Milford, DE for 18 years. After retiring, he became an evangelist and then worked with youth again while in his late seventies in Washington State, never wanting to stop serving. He is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Lynn and Don Kennedy, and Joy and Don Williams; six grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 217 Main St., Felton, DE at 2:30 pm on Monday, November 1, 2021, with a time of visitation beginning at 1:30pm. Interment will be at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Rd., Bear, DE at 2 pm on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be sent for John Lande, missionary in Sri-Lanka, who is one of Brother Price’s sons in the Lord as well as a son in the ministry.
