F. Nelsa Hosse

F. Nelsa Hosse F. Nelsa Hosse (nee Davis), of Georgetown DE, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at the age of 82. Nelsa was raised in Glen Burnie, Maryland and moved to Georgetown in 1973 where she raised her six children and resided until her death. She loved her family, her flowers and her animals and will be missed by all. She was a long-time friend of Bill W. She was predeceased by her daughter Patrice Hosse. She is survived by Ernest H. Hosse, III; children Colleen (John) Briggs, Andrew Hosse, Laura (Sean) King, Rosemary Hosse (Dan Stevens) and Joanna (Michael) Weaver; 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; her brother Jacob Davis; and many loving family and friends. Services will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street Georgetown, where friends may call after 12:00 noon. Interment will be held at Union Cemetery, Georgetown immediately thereafter. Flowers accepted or a contribution in her memory may be sent to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, 22918 DuPont Blvd, Georgetown, DE 19947.
