Francis Donald Ellingsworth

Francis “Donald” Ellingsworth, 87, of Georgetown passed away peacefully at Lofland Park Center in Seaford on Saturday, January 2, 2021. Donald was born on April 13, 1933 in Ellendale. He was the son of the late William and Elizabeth Ellingsworth. Donald proudly served in the United States Army and went on to work for Townsends, Sharp Gas, and George and Lynch Construction. Donald is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Doris Jean (Revelle) Ellingsworth; and his brothers, William ‘Billy’ Ellingsworth Jr. and Franklin (Frankie) Ellingsworth. He is survived by his five children, son, Alan Ellingsworth and his wife, Ann Marie of Bear, daughter, Donna Lantagne of Bear, daughter, Debra Wilson and her husband Michael of Georgetown, daughter, Teresa Whitney and her husband Wayne of Milford, and son, David Ellingsworth of Georgetown; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne Ellingsworth and his wife Diane; sister, Libby Droddy and her husband, Kenny; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private.
