Geraldine Anne Priest

Geraldine Anne Priest, 79, passed away at her home on Monday, October 9, 2023.

She was born on June 29, 1944, in Bayonne, NJ, to the late George and Florence (Lutz) Fitzgerald.

Geraldine was the first person in her family to attend University, completing her BSc in Early Education and a MSc in Special Education from Monmouth University. She later became a teacher in New Jersey for many years, beloved by her students and fellow faculty. Geri had a deep love of animals, especially in regard to her dog, cats and horses. She also had a keen sense of adventure, which often took her camping and taking cross-country trips with her late husband, John Priest Sr. Above all else, she loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Timothy Kriss and wife, Carla, George Kriss, and Katherine Castrovinci and husband, Vincent; her grandchildren Elissa Ingram, Liam Ingram, Thomas Kriss and wife, Jaquelyn, Courtney Kriss, Sierra Kriss and Sequoia Kriss; her great-grandson Hunter Kriss; her nieces Natalie Montoni and husband, Chris, and Mindie Hung and husband, Clark, and children Phoenix Hung and Evan Hung; and her companion Ed Roskos.
