Harold "Buck" Clarence Wyatt, Jr.

Harold “Buck” Wyatt Jr., 66, of Lewes, passed away on Sunday, July 9th, surrounded by his family. He was born January 9th, 1957, in Milford, DE son of the late Harold Wyatt Sr. and Leona (Courtney) Wyatt.

Buck was a 1976 graduate of Sussex Vo Tech where he studied mechanics. He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for 38 years, until he became disabled in 2015.

Buck loved working on race cars, fishing, Nascar, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. He was a loving dad, pop-pop and friend and will forever be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Tallent; a brother, Melvin Wyatt and two infant siblings. He is survived by a daughter, Amanda Wyatt; two grandchildren, Emmalyn & Jaxton Justice; sisters, Leverna (Bobby) Bush, Bonnie Porter, Deborah (Robert) Givens and Amy (James) Flood; brothers, Dennis (Peggy) Wyatt, Thomas (Donna) Wyatt and Kelvin Wyatt; several nieces-nephews, great nieces-nephews, and great-great nieces-nephews.

A visitation will be held from 10am-12pm, Sunday July 23, 2023 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown, DE. Funeral services will begin directly after. Interment will follow at Milford Community Cemetery.
