Helen C. Betts

Helen C. Betts, 93, of Georgetown passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Bayhealth/Sussex Campus in Milford. Helen was born in Delaware on May 19, 1928, the daughter of the late George and Catherine (Hudson) Donovan. She was an attendant at Stockley Center in Georgetown. She was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, James E. Betts and daughter, Bonnie Messick and husband Everett of Georgetown. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 9, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call after 12:00 noon. Interment will be in Cokesbury Cemetery, Georgetown.
