Helen Elizabeth Mcbride

Milton—Helen Elizabeth McBride, passed away at the age of 82, on August 21, 2022 in her home surrounded by loved ones. Helen was born on July 6, 1940 in Chester, PA to her parents Francis Hughes Price and Mary Hilda (Price) Pennington. She enjoyed knitting, watching Lifetime Movie Network movies, singing at church, playing solitaire and going to the beach. She loved country music and riding her golf cart on Broadkill Beach. Helen enjoyed spending time with her family, and she was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Lawrence F. Price. She is survived by her husband, Gilbert F. McBride, Jr.; children, Donna Lee Behornar (John), Kimberly Ann Nickle (Dale), Cynthia Lynn Stopyra (Al) and Pamela Marie Stopyra (Steve); 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 7:30 pm in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, DE. A time of visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Chester Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2629 Foulk Road, Wilmington, DE.
