Obituary for Helen L. Wilson

Helen L. Wilson, 91, of Georgetown, DE passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on November 6, 2023, at BayHealth Sussex Campus in Milford, DE.

She was born on July 24, 1932, to her parents, the late Joseph and Mabel (Willey) Millman.

She attended the First Baptist Church in Georgetown. Helen loved to spend her time with family and friends, tending flowers, putting puzzles together and watching for her beloved hummingbirds.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Wilson, Jr.; brothers, Harry Millman and Joseph Millman; and sister, Mildred Short.

Helen was survived by her five siblings: Norman Millman of Georgetown, Ronald Millman of Milford, Robert (Pat) Millman of Georgetown, Daniel (Darlene) Millman of Greenwood, Shirley Taylor of Zanesville, Ohio and several nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 1:00pm in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown, DE 19947. A time of visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Burial will follow at McColley Cemetery, Georgetown, DE.
