Irma "Liz" Snively

Irma “Liz” Snively, of Georgetown, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. Liz was born in a German community in Romania. During WWII they were moved back to Germany as refugees. This is where, at 17, she met her husband Bob during his service in the Army and they remained married for 66 year. Her passions were the Lord, her family, serving others, tennis and gardening at her home and the intersection of Sussex Pines Road and Cedar Lane.

She is survived by her husband Robert L. Snively; her four children, Janice Leav Parker, Heidi Moore, Donna Renny Atkinson and David Snively; as well as 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Crossroad Community Church, 20684 State Forest Road, Georgetown, DE 19947. A time of visitation will begin at 10:00am.

In lieu of flowers, donations are sincerely appreciated to the church or Delaware Hospice.
