James I. “Jim” McFall, 76
MILFORD – James I. “Jim” McFall passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.
Jim was born in Aston, Pennsylvania, son of the late Walter G. and Rose Elizabeth (Cohee) McFall. He resided in the Aston and Media area and graduated from Media High School. He later moved to Castle Hills in New Castle, Del and then to Milford, where he resided for the past 53 years.
Jim loved the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, travelling to Key West, snorkeling and fishing whenever he was able. He loved his music, especially classic rock and was an avid trivia player.
He worked most of his life in the auto sales industry at several area dealers including, Armigers Auto Sales, Matt Slap and IG Burton.
In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by a son, Bryan J. McFall; a sister, Betty; and a brother, Earl.
He is survived by his two children, Sean McFall, Sr., (Linda), and Shannon McFall; his fiancee of 30 years, Sharon Faulkner; daughter in law, Karine; six grandchildren, Sean McFall, Jr., Kelsey, Megan, Marley, Eli and Kaine; three great grandchildren, Cambria, Owen and Kulture; four nieces, Ginger Hogan, Sandy Greene, Brenda Bove and Bambie Hicks; one nephew, James McFall; Sharon’s children, Chris and Tim Faulkner, granddaughter Megan Wilson (Harley), Sharon’s sister and family, Robin (Fred) Bullock; and their families, Jennifer Segar, Jonathan Segar, Sr., Brooklyn, Tyler, Spencer, Jonathan Jr.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front Street, Milford, DE 19963
