James Paul Goodman

James Paul Goodman, 81, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at his home in Milford.

Jim was born in Drumright, Oklahoma, on June 2, 1942. As a child, his family relocated to Delaware where he lived in Delaware City, St.Georges and lastly Milford. It was in Delaware City where he met the love of his life, Corrine. They were married for 62 years and treasured their time together. Jim retired from Hewlett Packard-American Manufacturing Technologies after 43 years of dedicated service. He was a former member of the Delaware City Lions club and served as its president for some time. He was an avid fan of the University of Oklahoma sports. Most people would know him for his love for fishing, gardening and woodworking. He was supportive and caring as a father and grandfather and very proud of his family.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Corrine Goodman, parents, John and Francies Goodman, and biological father Earnest Brown.

He will be greatly missed by his sons: Brian (Lorraine) Goodman, Keith Goodman; grandchildren: Matthew (Allison) Goodman, Ryan (Rose) Goodman, Bradley Goodman, Randi Lynn (Rachel Blue); great grandchildren: Noah Goodman, August Goodman, Liam Blue; and sister; Shirley Rampey.

A celebration of life will be private at a later date.
