Jennifer R. Powell

Felton—Jennifer R. Powell, 47, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at her home. She is now an angel who has crossed the bridge to enter the gates of heaven. She was employed as a waitress. Jennifer enjoyed shopping, cooking, going to the beach, loved to paint and most of all spending time with family, friends and beloved dog, Bella.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary Alice Bell, uncles Jamie and Jack and a stillborn sister. Jennifer survived by her parents, Michael J. and Theresa (Bell) Powell, biological father, James T. Burke, paternal grandparents, William and Harriett Powell, sister Stefanie Powell and niece, Hailey Powell.

A viewing will be begin at 1:00 pm following with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 23, 2022 in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 217 Main Street, Felton, DE. Interment will be private at a later date.
