Jennifer Smith

Jennifer Smith, age 44, passed away unexpectedly at Kent General Hospital in Dover, Delaware on July 18th, 2022. Jennifer was a loving mother, daughter and sister. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going out with her friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Caldwell and her grandfather, Robert Gill. She is survived by her mother, Debra Caldwell; her children, Day'ja Smith and Anthony Stevens; her step-children, Antoine Person (Paige) and his children, Tyrone Smith Jr. and his children; her sister Sarabeth Houchens (Taye) and her children, Asayshia, Aiden and Adriana. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Phyllis Gill; her close cousins, Nicole, Carrianne, Jennice, Britney; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 3:00 at Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, DE 19963. A time of visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the GoFundMe or contributions to the funeral home to defray costs.
