JoAnn W. (Walls) Webb, 76

FELTON – JoAnn W. Webb passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.

JoAnn was born in Milford, and grew up in Georgetown, daughter of the late William G. Walls, Sr., and Bennetta E. (Burns) Walls Spady.

JoAnn was a homemaker, and after raising her children, she worked for the Department of Agriculture performing surveys. She enjoyed spending time with and chatting with our local farmers as she went about the workday.

She was a member of Sardis UM Church in Milford where she taught Sunday School; and was also active in the South Bowers Ladies Auxiliary for many years. A few of her favorite things were collecting Longaberger and Jim Shore; and she loved wearing TOMS shoes.

In addition to her parents, JoAnn is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas P. Webb, and a sister, Linda L. Walls Wolf.

She is survived by four children, William C. Banning, Jr., and wife Sarita, Robin D. Kemper, Kelly R. Warren and husband Bryon, and Joanna R. Weeks; 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; two siblings, William G. Walls, Jr., and Shirley Walls Collins; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

The family would also like to share a special thank you to caregivers Angie and Morgan.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00pm-4:00pm on Sunday, June 23, 2024, in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Homes, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, Del 19963. Burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, Del 19963 or Frederica Fire Department, PO Box 283, Frederica, Del 19946.
