Jack was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania to Mr. Earl and Mrs. Mary (Hahn) Sieber on February 26, 1949. Jack grew up playing football, swimming, hunting, and riding motorcycles with his older brother Richard “Dick” Sieber and graduated from McKeesport High School. In 1969 Jack married the love of his life, Carole Carlson, and they relocated to Delaware in 1972 and spent many years in Townsend, Houston, and ultimately resided in Lewes, Delaware. He worked primarily in the construction industry as a highly skilled carpenter for several decades throughout the Delmarva Peninsula working on several government, commercial business, and residential housing development projects. Jack had several hobbies and interests including deer hunting, fishing and boating in the Atlantic Ocean and Delaware Bay, and watching NFL football and NASCAR races on Sunday afternoons. Jack was also an avid reader of religion and history and was always eager to participate in his favorite nightly game show “Jeopardy”. Most importantly and closest to his heart was his steadfast love and faith in God and spending every minute possible with his family. Jack was very close with his daughter Jennifer and his son Zack and their spouses and enjoyed passing along his knowledge of building and the outdoors. Jack especially loved his four grandchildren and was happiest spending time with them at the beach, the pool, fishing, and their school and sporting events.
