Joseph G. Sockolosky

Joseph G. Sockolosky, 91, of Prime Hook Beach, Milford, passed away on December 25, 2021 at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He was born on January 6, 1930 in McAdoo, PA to the late Alex and Helen (Pensock) Sockolosky. He was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Lewes, DE. Joseph is preceded in death by his wife, Martha (Dudzinski) Sockolosky; his sister, Ceil McGeehan; and his companion, Doris Strohl. Joseph is survived by his son, Joseph G. Sockolosky, Jr. of Sudlersville, MD; his daughter, Kathleen Phillips of Milford, DE; and his sisters, Dorothy OIson of Peekskill, NY, and Joan Amos of Warminster, PA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 152 Tulip Dr #1689, Lewes, DE 19958. A time of visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be held at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, DE. As required by revised mandates during the pandemic, masks will be required for the health and safety of the family and those in attendance.
