Joseph N. "Mickey Mouse" Connelly, Jr.

Joseph N. “Mickey Mouse” Connelly, Jr., 80, of Felton, passed away on April 30, 2024 at Bayhealth Sussex Campus.

Joe was born in Felton on March 31, 1944 to the late Joseph N., Sr. and Maggie Ola (Huitt) Connelly.

Joe was a super truck driver from a young age. He loved to relive his over-the-road days. He would tell stories about all his adventures. Joe had enjoyed the water, playing with his RC boats and crabbing. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and loved his dog. He will be truly missed.

In addition to his parents and grandparents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Susan.

Joe is survived by his wife of 42 years Nancy; children Robert, Robin, Nelson, Renee, and two other children from his previous marriage; his siblings Bobby, Faye, Larry, Jerry, Gary, Penny, and Jeanie; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. “We love you, JoeJoe.”
