Joyce Mcgee Collins

Joyce McGee Collins, 73, of Georgetown passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. Joyce was born in Lewes to the late Elisha and Ruth Ann (Moore) McGee. She retired from the State of Delaware, working in the Prothonotary Office. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Collins; and her brother, Reese McGee. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Collins of Georgetown; siblings, Richard McGee of Newark, Ronald McGee of Georgetown, Janice Chorman of Millsboro, and Rodney McGee of Georgetown; grandsons, David Collins of Millsboro, and Austin Collins of Georgetown; great-granddaughters, Teagan and Charlotte Collins of Millsboro; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, DE 19947, where friends may call after 10:00 am.
