Julia Ann Jimenez

May 11, 1969 — April 8, 2022

Julia Ann Jimenez, 52, of Seaford, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Tidal Health Nanticoke. Julia was born in Milford, the daughter of the late Alton Leroy and Wilma Leona (Shockey) King on May 11, 1969. Julia was a food lover. This came from her years as a restaurant manager and deli owner. She loved to try new exciting flavors, but opted for the authentic cuisines of Mexico. She also frequented the casinos where she enjoyed the social atmosphere, meeting with friends, and of course, the restaurants. Julia enjoyed traveling. She has been all over the East Coast, Oklahoma, Mexico, and more. She was sassy, fierce, driven, and a protector. She loved her grandchildren deeply. She is survived by her children, Jessica L. Myers (Jamie), Daniel L. King, Nathaniel L. King (Jordan), Angel J. King, and Juan A. Jimenez; her siblings, Sandra L. King and George P. King (Diana); and her two grandchildren, Daniel J. King and Jordan Rebecca King, Jr. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 12:00 noon in the chapel in Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St. Milford, DE 19963. A time of visitation will begin at 10:00. Interment will follow at Milford Community Cemetery.
