June C. Rust

June C. Rust, 91, of Milford, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Greenwood Country Rest Home.

June was born on June 5, 1931 to the late Thomas J. and Madaline (Coverdale) Collett in Milford, Delaware.

June was a member of the Ellendale Economics Club. She enjoyed reading, word puzzles, crosswords, puzzles, and watching television. She loved bowling at Milford Bowling Lanes, and in her later years, loved Wii Bowling.

In addition to her parents, June is preceded by her grandchildren, Joanna and Joshua Smith.

She will be greatly missed by her husband of 70 years, Carlton A. Rust; her children, Linda Smith, Tom Rust (Patti), Michele Adair, Carla Hazzard (Rick), and Bill Rust (Laura); as well as 6 granddaughters and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 18, 2022 at 11am in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St. Milford, DE 19963. A time of visitation for family and friends will begin at 10am. Interment will follow at Milford Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Carlisle Fire Co.
