Kathleen C. Pfeiffer, 83, of Georgetown, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025. Kathleen was born on April 2, 1941, to the late Walter and Emlia (Molter) Leyh in New York City.
Living much of her life in Pennsylvania, Kathleen and her husband, William Pfeiffer Sr., retired to Delaware, where she had lived for the past fifteen years. Kathleen earned her master’s degree and worked as a teacher and librarian. She had a deep love for painting, capturing the beauty in all things around her. Kathleen also enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time with her five grandchildren. She was an active member of The Village of Cinderberry in Georgetown. Kathleen was a member of Palmyra Moravian Church.
In addition to her parents, Kathleen is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Dr. William L. Pfeiffer Sr.
She will be greatly missed by her three sons: William Pfeiffer Jr., Marc Pfeiffer, and Christopher Pfeiffer; five grandchildren; and her sister, Judith Kilpatrick.
A celebration of life is being planned for April to be held in Georgetown Delaware, with additional details to be distributed as they become available.
