Kenda Lynn Warner of Milford, De. passes away peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022, in the comfort of her own home, while laying hand-in-hand with her loving Husband Bob. Her earthly body gave way, but her spirit was beyond ready, to be with our Heavenly Father and Gracious Creator. Guiding her spirit to the Pearly Gates of The Heavenly Realm. She fought a courageous and dignified fight, throughout the last couple of years of her life. At 63 years young, she was “more” than a fighter, she defined the word “Survivor”.
Born in Olean, NY. to loving parents Rev. Alvin & Doris Willink. Her Father a beloved Methodist Minister and Leader of many churches during her younger years, where she ultimately learned at a young age “ Never stay in one place too long” and what that truly meant. Overall it gave her the ability to meet & mingle among many, but more importantly “TOUCH” the lives of so many people she encountered, throughout her brief stay.
She attended Woodbridge H.S. until her Junior year and would later attend Lake Forrest H.S. and graduate Class of 77’. She received her cosmetology license from Vincent Et Julian Hair Fashions in Dover, DE. shortly after. Thanks to her radiant & bubbly personality, she would be top in sales for Pearl Vision in Northern Virginia while living around the Wash, D.C. area. She continued to work in Ophthalmology for many years. She wore many hats in life, but her LOVE for our “four-legged friends” became her true calling and passion over the last fifteen years. She LOVED each and every customer and their furry sidekicks. She blessed many people's lives while running
“ While your away”, in-home pet-sitting and doggie daycare business.
Her contagious laugh and her life-of-the-party demeanor will truly be missed! She was a fabulous wife, mother, aunt, sister & friend, who touched so many. She loved the Lord and she let that be known. She is survived by her husband Robert (Bob) Warner, Daughters Lauren Kusik, and Andrea Warner-Hemming, husband Kenny, and daughter Eva Monroe. Son Bradford Warner and wife Chelsey. Brothers Kevin Willink & wife Kathy, Kenny Willink, and their children and grandchildren. Nephews Justin & Kyle Willink wife Amanda and son Kyler, Anna Ortiz & husband Carlos and son Mason. Grand dogs Sparkle, Gianna, Jack & Romeo.
