Kenneth "Kenny" M. Bessinger

MILFORD—Kenneth M. Bessinger, 58, lifelong resident of Milford, well known to many as Kenny, passed away peacefully at home on July 26, 2023 surrounded by his family.

Kenneth was born in Dover, DE, son of the late Martin K. and Margaret (Bottomley) Bessinger.

He was an avid commercial fisherman and loved the outdoors by fishing, crabbing, hunting and trapping. His most favorite place to be was riding his Mahindra Tractor.

Kenny is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by sisters, Karen R. Isdell, and Francine Dunning Hartley (Marvin); niece, Johni Lisa Lewis (Robert Hurd); great nephews, Jason Kemp, Jr., Daniel Lewis, Aaron Lewis and Paul Lewis.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 12, 2023 in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front Street, Milford, DE, where a time of visitation will begin at 12:00pm.
