Kenneth Martin Statler passed away at his home in Georgetown on Monday, August 28th, 2023. He was born in Sedgewickville, Missouri on February 15, 1931 to the late Greeley and Pearl Statler. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Alice Fay Statler, his son Keith Statler (Heather); two grandsons, Cole and Garrett Statler of Millsboro, Delaware; his sister Wanda Wilke of Jackson, Missouri; his brother Larry Statler (Mary Ann) of Jackson, Missouri; his brother Glenn Statler of Vancouver, Washington; and his sister-in-law, Wendy Holloway (David) of Millsboro, Delaware.


Ken was a proud United States military veteran who served in both the Korean and Vietnam wars.


Ken was an avid Nascar fan. He was also a devoted volunteer for many years in Pop Warner Football and Little League where he enjoyed watching his son play. In his later years, he took great pride in following the many sports and activities of his grandsons, as well.


A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 5th at Union Cemetery in Georgetown at 10:00 a.m.
