Kenneth Lee Willey, Sr.

Kenneth Lee Willey Sr., aged 50, passed away unexpectedly on the evening of March 29th, 2025, in Timberville, Virginia.

Kenneth was born at Milford Memorial Hospital and later went on to attend Sussex Central High School. He spent most of his career as a welder, working locally at General Refrigeration in Delmar, DE, before taking on travel welding roles with Independent Refrigeration, based in York, PA. Kenneth concluded his career as a Lead Refrigeration Technician at Pilgrim’s Plant in Timberville, VA.

Whether it was the roar of his motorcycle engine or the crackling of a bonfire, Kenneth's presence was always a source of warmth and joy. His passion for life was infectious, inspiring those around him to cherish the simple pleasures and create lasting memories. Kenneth's loyalty to his loved ones was unwavering, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him, as a beacon of kindness and goodwill, reminding everyone to embrace each moment with enthusiasm and love.

Kenneth is survived by his mother, Constance Hamilton; his stepmother, Joanne Goins; his brothers, JR Goins (and his wife, Crissy Neal Goins) and Jacob Goins (and his wife, Hanna Goins); his children, David Parsons (and his wife, Sylvia Parsons), Kenneth Willey Jr., William Willey, Alexis Willey, and his stepson, Kyle Revell. He is also remembered by his nieces and nephew, Aaliyah, Cheyann, and Bentley, along with other family members and friends. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Morgan Cline-George, and her daughter, Grace George. Additionally, Kenneth is survived by his uncle, Frank D. Willey, who cherished him like a son, sharing many laughs and wisdom.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his father, Lee Goins; his grandmother, Edith Mae Morgan Willey Nobles; and his cherished dog, Butters.

Dad will be missed by many, but he will forever be in our hearts.

A time of visiting for family and friends will be held from 1:00-2:00pm followed by a memorial service from 2:00-3:00pm, on Friday, April 18th, 2025, held at Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St. Georgetown, DE.
