Kevin Lee Cane - Obituary

Kevin Lee Cane, 45, of Georgetown, passed away on October 17, 2024 at his home in Georgetown.

Kevin was born on November 3, 1978 in Dover, DE to Allen E. Cane Sr. and the late Gale D. (Tribbitt) Cane.

A lifelong Delaware native, Kevin worked as a landscaper for many years. He enjoyed NASCAR, rooting for the Eagles, and watching basketball. He loved family time with those he loved, especially his nieces and nephew. Kevin is remembered fondly for speaking his mind, singing to the best of his abilities, and his magnetic personality. His family was not the only ones who loved Kevin; he befriended pets such as potbelly pigs, turkeys, geese, chickens, and dogs.

In addition to his mother, Gail D. (Tribbett) Cane, Kevin is preceded in death by his uncle, Lester Cane; and friends Jeff Bubniak and Little Richard Vilone.

He is survived by his father, Allen Cane Sr.; brothers, Allen Cane Jr., Brian “Bro” Cane, Mikey Cane; sister in law, Teresa Lamb; nieces and nephews, Candice, Alysia, Baby Allen; grand nieces and nephews, Alanah, Cheyenne, Jaiven, and Chayce and enjoyed spending time with his cousin Eric Cane, who was like another brother to him.

A celebration of life will be held on November 3, 2024 in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home at 217 E Main St, Felton, DE 19943. A time of visitation will begin at 11:00 am and friends are encouraged to share memories with the family at 12:00 noon.
