Kevin W West, Sr.

Kevin W. West, Sr., 57, of Georgetown passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Kevin attended St. Johns Methodist Church, loved racing, and was an avid listener of classic rock. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Gerald West; and his brother, Kyle West. He is survived by his wife, Darlene (Elliott) West; mother, Bonnie (Lecates) West; children, Sarah Farrow West, Kevin West, Jr. (Shana), Jeffrey West (Logan); step-children, Scott West (Samantha) and April Johnson (John); brother, Richard West (Nancy); mother-in-law, Irene Elliott; grandchildren, Austin Farrow, Kaylee Farrow, Kowen West, Karper West, and Paige West; step-grandchildren, Sophia West, Alan West, Harold Benchoff, Jonah Myers, and Matthew Workman. The family would like to extend a special thanks to his nurse, Nichole Barnett and aide, Ella Joy. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 1 pm in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, DE 19947, where friends may call after 12 noon. Burial will be private.
